Pair of Brutalist table lamps, circa 1960. They are handcrafted, oval-shaped metal, iron, and copper. They feature carved circular motifs on their bodies, a typical feature associated with the work of their maker, who produced many works of art, sculptures, and furniture during this period. The lamps have their original black "on/off" rotary knobs (see photos.) Above the sockets are the brass-colored swivel harps, each measuring 29 cm in height. Please note that the lamp on the left has a different decorative element than the lamp on the right, but this is how they were acquired. The undersides are covered in green felt. They are in good overall condition, original and vintage, with slight marks, signs of age and previous use, as well as a patina of time, and slight discoloration, on the structures (see photos.) Please note: the swivel harps show signs of age, and can be easily replaced if desired, in order to be able to put any type of lampshade. The lamps have their original American plugs, as they were made in Los Angeles, California. They can easily be used with a 220 V adapter (see photos.) They have been tested and work perfectly, with E27 screw bulbs (not included.). They are heavy and solid. Each lamp weighs approximately 9 kilos. Dimensions: The 2 legs are 56 cm high, & with the harps they are 79 cm.|Note: The lamp on the left with the additional decoration screwed on top is 88 cm.|The 2 lamps are approximately 22 cm wide.|One is 14 cm deep and the other 15 cm deep.
