Very rare wall or ceiling lamp from the Aggregato series by the Italian manufacturer Artemide, designed by Enzo Mari and Giancarlo Fassina in the 1970s. The particularly striking element is the extensively cantilevered arm of the lamp. The design is deliberately very simple. The arm consists of an aluminium profile into which a cable conduit is clipped, visible from the outside. The arm features a double ball joint on both sides, which are fixed in the desired position using a lever. This makes the luminaire extremely flexible. A particular detail of this version is the interesting tension of the cord, which is fixed to the wall or ceiling and intercepts the long arm. Only the pendant lamp from this series is still in production.
