Extendable rosewood table, Denmark 50s/60s, vntg, mid-c modern

Extendable, round rosewood table produced in the 50s/60s. Finished in dark rosewood veneer with beautiful grain on each element and topped with a solid edge and solid, slightly tapered legs. Solid workmanship and thoughtful assembly of the legs, which is also a decorative detail. The table has 2 extensions and, as was designed in those times, one extension has a frame that matches the main table and the other only a solid edge without a frame. The furniture after a complete renovation, sanded and cleaned of old coatings and in the final stage secured with several layers of hard oil-wax resistant to dirt and water, which emphasized the wonderful grain of the wood. The table looks amazing and is ready to be installed. Additional dimensions: Width of the extensions 50 cm each, which gives a maximum table width of 218.5 cm. Height from floor to table frame (space for chair) 63.5 cm.
