Pair of ceramic leopards, Italy, 1950

Beautiful and imposing pair of italian ceramic leopards from the 50s, entirely hand-painted and signed with the "made in italy" stamp. They measure 65 cm high, 40 cm wide, 25 cm deep and are therefore approximately in full size. The roaring leopard is in perfect condition, the other has two tiny egrets on one leg and one on one ear (see photos) that are only visible about ten centimetres away but are imperceptible beyond, as much to say that it is in a remarkable condition. Very rare and sought-after sculptures.
