Description
Directoire style flat desk in cherry wood, circa 1960. The top is upholstered in tan leather with a gold pattern around the edge. Front opening with three drawers with a key for each. Tapered sheathed feet with an ornament of a ring and a bronze shoe. Brass scrapers on each corner. Guest side with false drawers. Stamp of maison mailfert on the reverse. From an architect's house in southern brittany. H 77 X l 146 X d 76 cm h under the belt in the middle 62 cm.
