Designed in 2020, in paris, by manon sénal. – Drawing is a moment that reconnects me to my environment and makes me aware of what surrounds me. My favorite subjects are usually moving subjects, alive: a flower that fades in the fall, a woman who enters the water on the beach, the movement of a dress that rises... As a city girl, I have always considered my environment to be "inert". Watching the slices of life in the building across the street from my home during the confinement, I wanted to take a fresh look at the buildings around me. I chose a soft line with the pen to give energy and movement to the buildings. What I liked about this tool is that there is no turning back. Some lines are not straight, sometimes you have to take the proportions of the drawing along the way without ever being able to erase the initial features. This suggests all the life that exists in his apartments without being able to see it...
