Old persian afshar rug. Large format 200 X 276 cm. Good condition. Traces of use to note including part of the beige rim which is darker in places. This phenomenon is probably due to discoloration during washing. Apart from that, the carpet is not worn or holed. Made and knotted by hand, pure wool. "afshar rugs come from northeastern iran.
