Vintage Vallauris ceramic vase 50s/60s

Vase in ceramic enamelled vintage decoration fat lava (light relief) signed vallauris in colors orange white brown. Brown satin base enamelling that brings out the colorful effects of the décor. Drips add material effects to color combinations. Its design shape and geometric patterns are emblematic of the artistic movement of the 1950s and 1960s of fat lava ceramics in germany and vallauris in france. The 60s saw the appearance of the first lavas, the contrasting brown, red and orange colors.
