Square-section earthenware vase from the baca series, one of the last series designed by nils thorsson (1898-1975) for aluminia and royal copenhagen. The word baca means "ring, " which explains why the signature of each artist who has created a set appears in a circle on the back of each piece in the series. The décor of stylized plants and birds of this vase, dated between 1975 and 1979, is due to nils thorsson.
