Mid-century murano sommerso glass ashtray / small bowl - italy, 1960s. ''sommerso'' is a technique developed in murano in the 1930s which became very popular in the 1950s/60s. The result is a glass with contrasting colours that is commonly cased by a clear layer. Blue, azure and clear glass. Original label barely readable - can be removed very easily if needed. Dimensions: height: 6 cm; width: 16 cm; depth: 15 cm. Very good vintage condition.
