Carriage lantern xixth

Old metal carriage lantern. These lanterns were the only lighting of carriages and cabs until the arrival of electricity on road vehicles. This one, which therefore fionctioned with a candle, has a domed window, which opens, on the front side, and a glass colored in green on the side. It is in its juice, complete, and full of authenticity. It can be modified to make an original outdoor lighting above an entrance door. Circa 1890. Size: Height: 37 cm. Width: 11 cm. Depth: 13 cm.
