Mid century bentwood armchairs by František Jirák for Tatra nábytok, Czechoslovakia, 1960´s

These Czechoslovak lounge armchairs were designed by František Jirák for Tatra Nabytok in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1960´s. The design of these chairs followed the huge success of the Czechoslovak pavilion at the Brussels Expo 58. The armchairs features an original bent plywood armrests and the wooden structure is in beech veneer. These items are in good Vintage condition, bears signs of age and using. Price is for the pair.
