Pair of transition style armchairs

More sober than the Louis XV and Louis XVI styles which preceded and followed it, the transition style is characterized by fluid and elegant lines, and much lighter and more discreet sculpted decorations, only a rose appears here on the top of the backrests. the seat is deep, the more inclined backrest stops at shoulder height. 19th century manufacture in very good condition, quality old restoration, superb floral fabrics and firm seat.
