Pair of Danish Rosewood Floating Bedside Tables, 1960s

Elegant pair of Danish Mid-Century Modern floating bedside tables, crafted in Denmark during the 1960s. The wall-mounted nightstands feature beautifully figured rosewood veneer, characterized by rich brown tones and expressive natural grain. Their restrained geometric form and compact proportions are characteristic of Scandinavian Modern design of the period. Each bedside table incorporates a practical pull-out drawer, providing useful bedside storage while preserving the clean, minimalist appearance of the design. The floating construction allows the pieces to be mounted directly to the wall, creating a visually light appearance and leaving the floor beneath unobstructed. The rosewood surfaces display particularly attractive grain patterns, making the pair decorative as well as functional. Their understated design works beautifully in Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian, contemporary and minimalist interiors. The pair has been carefully refurbished and remains in very good vintage condition, with minor signs of use and age consistent with its period. Origin: Denmark. Period: 1960s.
