The photos are following the announcement... Through my antique filigree shop, I am committed to offering you a gallery of old and authentic works and objects (no copy, fake or reissue) at really affordable prices. I pay particular attention to my descriptions: you bid for what you see. Painting signed by Piet Volckaert (1902 / 1973, biography attached) depicting a view of a port with boats. Very well referenced artist (sales record at 3600 euros in 2018). Very beautiful workmanship for this work made in oil on canvas embedded (key frame). Beautiful state of conservation (healthy pictorial layer, the edges of the work have been reinforced with linen strips, invisible once framed, the canvas is therefore perfectly stretched). The last photo gives you an idea of the scale of the work. Quick biography: Trained at the academy of Saint-Gilles, student of f. Gaillard, he strives to represent Brussels life through its alleys, market scenes, views of canals and portraits, or urban landscapes. Chassis dimension: 54 / 73 cm.
