Louis XVI style caned office chair, 20th century, in stained brown mahogany wood. Basket-shaped backrest (barrel shape) made up of three caned panels separated by vertical supports. Sculpted scroll armrests. Tapered and fluted legs, typical of the Louis XVI repertoire, resting on small sabot feet. Curved apron adorned with sculpted rosettes at the corners and a fine moulding. Caned seat topped with a removable cushion in blue-green linen fabric. Homogeneous old patina on the entire wood. Visible wear on the caning of the seat (hidden under the cushion) and some marks on the apron. The caning of the backrest and apron is in generally good condition according to the seller. Removable cushion included. No reported interventions; routine cleaning expected. Total height: 86 cm – Seat height: 45 cm – Width: 50 cm – Weight: 20 kg. Price: 300 EUR.
