He trained as a graphic designer at the Staatliche Zeichenakademie in Hanau, then at the School of Graphic Arts in Frankfurt, he created his studio as an advertising painter, decorator and poster designer. In 1960-61 stay in Paris, in Montmartre. Lived permanently in France from 1963, settling in Paris, then in L'Haÿ-les-Roses. He practiced lithography in 1970 with a new vision. Painter and lithographer of landscapes, influenced by tachism, his work focuses on Paris, the castles of the Loire, Normandy (the garden of Claude Mo-net in Giverny, Mont- Saint-Michel), the French Riviera, Venice New York, Spain (Toledo, 1997), Rome, Japan and Hong Kong. He creates press advertising illustrations and public and private murals.
