Carved wooden corner armchair - 19th century

Corner armchair made in the late 19th century from carved walnut with Neo-Renaissance motifs; turned and carved uprights, carved figures of winged beasts on the backrest and a child's face (probably the Sun King). Floral motifs are engraved on the armrests. The fluted seat is in very good condition and removable, which will facilitate its replacement if needed. There are a few discreet traces of wood-boring insects, but it is no longer infested. H80 x 70 x 70 cm. 7.5 kg.
