Polychrome ceramic vase in flowing enamel from nabeul with mihrab decoration. Model: the knight. It bears the nabeul tunisia stamp and the arabic signature de verclos nabeul on the belly. Very beautiful flowing enamel. Kharraz workshop mark hollowed out under the base. Artist: pierre de verclos period: between 1920-1950. Pierre de verclos sailed for tunisia around 1921-1922 where he created a ceramics workshop in nabeul where there is an old tradition in the art of pottery. Affected by illness around 1936, the workshop continued under the direction of his wife véronique until independence. A small missing part at the bottom of one of the handles (see photo). Dimensions: - height 18 cm - width: 22 cm - diameter 15 cm - neck diameter 9.5 cm - base diameter 8 cm weight: 939g very good condition. No cracks, no breakage, no missing.
