Pair of bottles of cologne in molded glass model "with bees" of guerlain dating from the early twentieth century. These bottles were designed and designed for empress eugenie's imperial cologne. For half a century, it was the guerlain bottle and is still used for prestigious fragrances. Very well preserved 500 ml bottles (one of the two to a little bleached inside). A short historical topo: imperial water is the first cologne of the house of guerlain. It was created in 1853 for empress eugénie, the wife of napoleon III by pierre françois pascal guerlain. This special order was initially placed by the empress to relieve her migraines, it earned p.f.p. Guerlain the title of "patented perfumer of his majesty". A few years after its creation, eugénie authorized its marketing. The bee bottle recalls the symbols of the empire and bears the coat of arms chosen by napoleon: the eagle, the sceptre and the imperial crown. Today, the perfume is still marketed, the bottle still has its bees and imperial symbols in a more modern version.
