Side table with flaps

Small louis philippe style mahogany side table from the 19th century. This model comes in the form of a small rectangular table with 1 flap on each side which is raised and held in place using a small latch to enlarge it. On one side there is a small door opening onto a niche, and on the other side, 2 small drawers as well as 1 secret drawer, the whole thing is placed on 4 fluted feet ending in 4 casters allowing it to be moved. This table is in good condition, it was sanded and repainted in a very light gray then lightly sanded again to give it an aged effect, except for the drawers and the niche to give it a shabby chic look. With its revisited style and its space-saving function, this table will not leave you indifferent, whether it is used as a side table or bedside table, you will find a place for it!
