Small rustic jam buffet in solid wood.

Small rustic confiture buffet probably dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, featuring a door with curved moldings and an ornate metal lock entry. Made of solid wood with a warm grain — likely cherry or fruit oak — it charms with its curved legs and typical low cut crossbar of country furniture. Its compact and functional format will easily find a place in a kitchen for storing dishes, or as an accent piece in an entryway. Condition: The furniture is healthy, stable, and perfectly functional, with a door that opens and closes properly. The wood shows an authentic old patina: there are some superficial micro-scratches from use, discreet dents on the edges, as well as signs of wear and lighter shades on the top. These marks of time testify to its history while preserving the solidity and raw charm of this character piece.
