Old metal plate of Parisian manufacture

This plate of a very nice size, is a beautiful survivor of the industrial past of neighborhood, in paris and everywhere in france. These urban workshops are now often replaced by offices or administrations. Lamboux & cie was a parisian company created in 1900 and no longer exists today. It offered continuous handling equipment (hoists etc.). We love its ancient characters, the speckled sand color of the metal that contrasts with the black of the writings. It is blunt just enough to bring its touch of authenticity in an industrial-inspired décor. It is in very good condition with paint jumps and rust dots that give it even more cachet. Height: 40 cm. Length: 60 cm. Weight: 1.9 kg.
