Original lithograph by Rolf Rafflewski (1943-2019), a painter and lithographer known for his poetic views of Paris. This work depicts a view of the Pont au Double and the Hôtel-Dieu in Paris, observed from the Quai de Montebello, on the left bank of the Seine. In the background, the Petit-Pont (now Petit-Pont-Cardinal-Lustiger) also appears, offering a particularly elegant and faithful perspective of the Île de la Cité. Unlike the many lithographs by the artist dedicated to the Pont Neuf, the Pont des Arts, or Montmartre, this composition is much rarer on the market. The work is signed in pencil and numbered 125/300. Characteristics. * Original lithograph on paper. * Signed in pencil. * Numbered 125/300. * Framed under glass in its gilded wooden frame. * Very good overall condition. * Some slight signs of age on the paper, without affecting the quality of presentation. Dimensions. * Frame: 69.5 × 54.5 cm. * Image (visible): 49 × 64 cm. A refined work, ideal for a classic or contemporary interior, and a beautiful testament to historic Paris as seen by one of the great lithographers of the capital.
