Wall-mounted wooden coat rack in bamboo style with 3 mushroom-shaped hooks.

Charming wall-mounted coat rack made entirely of turned solid wood, varnished in a honey-gold colour, with lovely rounded shapes enhanced by dark circles for a design that mimics the appearance of bamboo. The mushroom shape of the hooks is very harmonious and typical of the 1940s and 50s. It has two hooks on the back. I have cleaned it carefully and injected white vinegar into the woodworm holes (just to be thorough, as they were already inactive). It is still sturdy, the hooks are well anchored, but it obviously shows signs of its great age: woodworm holes on one hook, areas where the varnish is faded, corrosion on the hangers, various marks. It measures 34.5 cm in length, 5 cm in width, and 13 cm in "depth.".
