Scandinavian adjustable table lamp, 1950s

Brass with original patina, flexible stem and adjustable conical shade. Scandinavian production from the 1950s. Produced in Scandinavia between the 1940s and 1950s, this brass table lamp reflects the restrained approach typical of postwar Nordic design. The conical shade and slender structure are balanced by the soft curve of the flexible stem, designed to easily direct the light where needed. The aged brass patina visible across the surface gives the lamp a warm, lived-in appearance that contrasts nicely with its technical character.
