Colon “cook” statuette in painted wood

Colon "cook" statuette in painted wood from the Ivory Coast. Pretty wooden figurine carved and painted in bright colors. The "settler" statuette is a painted wooden sculpture which was introduced into African art during the period colonial! This one was found at an antique dealer in West Africa and dates from the 60s and 70s! Nice colorful and ethnic touch to brighten up a living room, a kitchen or to give to a good cook.
