This rare and very old salad bowl is made of fine earthenware from creil montereau. This "flora" model dates from the 19th century - it was a great success for the manufacture presented at the 1855 universal exhibition in paris. It is signed by the brand "creil et montereau - lm & cie" "flora" for the creil montereau earthenware factory managed by barluet between 1876 and 1884. Round in shape, this salad bowl is decorated with a delightful cobalt blue decoration: climbing flowers - bindweed. This salad bowl has been well used and I report shocks and traces of grease on the bottom, as well as chips, including a significant one on the foot. It measures 12 cm X 25 cm in height.
