A stunning piece of vintage and mid century furniture in a three drawer oak chest with original mirror. The cabinet consists of two large hand crafted drawers with each drawer having superb dove tail jointing and offering excellent storage, on each drawer front their are two drop pendant brass handles with back plates with each one super ornate and in gold, the two drawers have there original key escutcheons and locks still in place. Sitting on top of the cabinet there is a super stylized oak shelf with a single smaller drawer within the centre with the same matching handle as the other two drawers, to each side there are oak supports with carved motifs within the centre that help to support the mirror, the mirror is encased within an oak frame with a large bevelled edged glass plate within the centre. To the base the chest sits on a beautifully carved oak base with four legs and cross stretchers running in between. The chest is a superb piece of vintage furniture with a wonderful look and design and a lovely oak colour that would suit any home or environment. Measurements w 36 inches d 18.5 inches h 31 inches to the top of the cabinet h 58 inches to the top of the mirror. Condition the cabinet is in superb condition, the chest has been hand sanded back to the original oak then french polished and waxed to help preserve the beautiful light colour of the cabinet.
