Set of two brutalist metal vases BMF – Germany, 1970s

Set of two large vases / soliflores BMF produced in Germany in the 1970s. Both pieces adopt a very pure cylindrical shape, combining large polished and satin metal surfaces with a heavily textured and darkened central band. These two pieces belong to the same BMF series as other vases of comparable dimensions and decorations. Good vintage condition. Both vases show signs of use consistent with their age: small scratches, superficial marks, variations in patina, and slight tarnishing of the metal. Signs of oxidation are visible inside, particularly in the narrower vase. The textured parts also show variations in patina and appearance inherent to their brutalist finish.
