Round dining table

Nice cabinetmaker's work for this vintage round dining table from the 70s from a house decorated in the middle of the century. The top is made of solid wood whose battens have been assembled vertically, which gives an unusual design of unusual wooden knots. It is perfectly smooth and has been sanded and oiled recently. 4.3 cm thick, it has not suffered any significant shocks, the black spots visible on the close-ups of the top of the tray are the natural knots of the wood. The original chromed metal base is a central tubular axis from which four 42 cm long arms also chromed extend with circular supports at each end provided with protection for the floor. The chrome is not pitted, the welds are all ok. The end of the base is a black metal plate on which the table top is securely fixed using its 6 original screws dimensions d: 100cm h: 71cm.
