This Moroccan Berber rug, measuring approximately 200 × 300 cm, is handwoven from thick natural wool by artisans from the Midelt region. The construction features a dense and robust weave with short beige fringes on the edges. Its pattern is distinguished by bold abstract geometric designs, with a saturated orange hue in the foreground, softened by beige and a cool blue. The colour composition evokes modern abstract art, while the matte and plush surface offers tactile comfort and an inviting texture underfoot. The shape of the rug expresses the interaction between tradition and modernity: the geometric forms and irregular lines reference Berber symbolism, but their expressive arrangement adds a contemporary touch. The warm orange tones recall the earthy landscapes of Morocco, while the cool blue adds a refreshing element.
