Old scissor lamp gdr, wall lamp, architect lamp, work lamp metal black, industrial design, mid century. This wonderful, solidly crafted scissor lamp from the 50s/60s comes from the former gdr. It was used as a functional workshop lamp and workplace lamp. It has a sturdy black metal drawer with which the lamp can be adjusted at a distance of 40 cm to a maximum of 90 cm from the wall and swivelled horizontally to the desired angle. The on/off switch (rotary switch) is located on the side of the lampshade. The locking wheels are also made of metal. The lamp can be fixed to the wall with 4 screws. The cable is plugged into a socket for the power supply. It has a length of 145 cm. It is functional and in an age-appropriate, charming vintage condition with patina, see photos. Please note: vintage lamps no longer meet today's safety standards. Some of the cables, plugs etc. Date back to the time of manufacture.
