Large Art Nouveau Vase in Green Opaline and Hand-Painted Enamel – H. 29 cm. Description: Succumb to the poetic charm of the Belle Époque with this superb antique vase in jade green / water green opaline, featuring exquisite finishing work. Early 20th century (Art Nouveau period). Material: Lacquered water green opaline with a scalloped / crumpled neck made hot. Hand-painted in enamel, depicting a blossoming flower in shades of pink and red, enhanced by gilded highlights in gold leaf/enamel on the edges, the bud, and the foliage. Finish: Smooth base with a ground and polished pontil, a testament to artisanal blown glass work. Dimensions: Height: 29 cm. Neck diameter: approx. 11 cm. Base diameter: approx. 8 cm. In very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks to report. The wavy neck is perfectly intact, and the enamel decoration as well as the gilding show a beautiful freshness for their age.
