Pair of small antique silver-plated candlesticks, Georgian style.

A very pretty pair of small silver-plated candlesticks, probably of English manufacture, unmarked. An antique piece in Georgian style, circa 1920-1940. Elegant shape with a turned and baluster shaft, alternating rings, bulges, and flared sections, resting on a slightly domed circular base. Small flared sockets designed to hold fine candles with a diameter of 1cm. Beautiful silvered patina, slightly dark in places, revealing a delicately brushed appearance due to previous cleanings. 11.5cm in height, 6cm maximum diameter at the base, approximately 1cm inner diameter for the candles. Very good overall condition, with a fine patina of cleaning scratches and a few discreet signs of use. There is a crack in the metal around the base of one of the candlesticks, visible but not bothersome once placed. Approximately 200g each.
