Siemens M57 amp radio

The Siemens M57 was produced between 1955 and 1957 and it was one of the best models in the entire Schatulle series, the high-end of Siemens at that time. This example has been completely restored and is perfectly functional! Its quality and sound power are exceptional! The bass/treble tone control system is very effective. Above the large tone control buttons is a band that gradually lights up indicating the focus on the band it is acting on. Antennas. Inside the trunk are a dipole for fm reception and a rotating ferrite antenna for am reception. The ferrite antenna can be rotated from the outside to get a perfect adjustment of the device in am. The reception sensitivity with internal antennas is excellent. Peculiarities. The button on the outside of the shutters has a double function: On/off button. Volume control. So you can easily avoid opening the shutters to control the device. The outside button lights up red when the radio is on. The device is equipped with a dual-position equalization switch: Musik – the entire sound spectrum is reproduced. Sprache – only the central part of the spectrum is reproduced. Rear side.
