Pair of vintage leather trunks, side tables/storage, locks in

A pair of leather-covered trunks with a strong character, usable as side tables, nightstands, or storage. They feature a beautiful natural patina in cognac and dark brown tones. Leather on a wooden frame, with leather corners, rivets, and brass studded bands. Two brass lock plates on the front of each trunk, stamped Legge’s (English lock manufacturer). Leather transport handles on the sides. Bright fuchsia textile lining, clean and in good condition. Spacious interior, practical for blankets, magazines, or games. Dimensions (each): 40 × 40 cm, height 56 cm when closed (lid 8 cm). Condition: Good vintage condition, with authentic patina, signs of use, and slight surface marks on the lids. Leather nourished. One leather corner is slightly peeling. Locks and fasteners functional. No keys: sold as is, the trunks remain open. Sold as a pair. Pickup in Antwerp. Additional photos available upon request.
