Very nice hairdresser dating from the 60s produced in england. Composed of 5 large drawers, this dressing table offers a large storage capacity. Modern lines, a light color and a magnificent triptych mirror give this piece of furniture all its character. Origin: england 🇬🇧 Produced by: meredew. Period: 60s. Dimensions: h74.5 (h120 in total with mirror) X w 150 X d42. Attribution mark: attribution mark in the first large drawer (see photos) Restoration: fully checked and controlled this dressing table has been sanded and oiled to protect and nourish the wood. A very slight lack of veneer on the tray but which goes quite unnoticed. Weight: about 35kg. About: From the 50s, the nordic countries (with denmark at the top of the list) created a design of their own. the shapes are refined and the materials are carefully chosen, a legacy of pre-war craftsmanship. The united kingdom then surfed the wave of this scandinavian design to create teak furniture: rows, tables, chairs... These period pieces have become real must-haves nowadays. In the past, this piece of furniture was mainly in the living room or dining room, then there were dishes, discs, or various papers inside; and on the set, record players, light fixtures, vases, frames or other trinkets. At that time, this piece of furniture was considered practical because it was a place where you could group everything, whether it was television and radio or dishes. Today, big difference: the scandinavian enfilade is a decorative element in its own right and highly sought after by design lovers.
