Metafora coffee table, 1970s

Sculptural coffee table "metafora" by massimo and lella vignelli for casigliani, italy, 1970s. The thick glass top by fontana arte rests on four marble and travertine legs, inspired by the shapes of euclidean geometry: the cube, the pyramid, the cylinder and the sphere. These can be freely positioned for a unique composition. The black marble leg has been carefully restored. The table is in very good general condition despite a slight snag on the corner of the top.
