Guermonprez armchair from the 70s, made in France. Its light cognac aniline leather is assembled in a patchwork of rectangles, each outlined with a topstitch. The armrests are solid and rounded, and the backrest rises high to support the neck. Under the seat cushion, the fabric of the structure is printed with the monogram "g" and the name Guermonprez, along with a "Made in France" label. Gérard Guermonprez, trained at the Boulle school, exhibited at the Salon des Arts Ménagers as early as 1954. In the 70s, the company turned towards wide and enveloping seats, like this one. Condition: the comfort is intact, the seat firm and welcoming. The leather is patinated, with darker marks at neck height and traces of use here and there, visible in the photos. The matching 2-seater sofa is also for sale in our shop. Dimensions: L 85 × D 85 × H 73 cm, seat height 40 cm.
