Italian mid-century coffee table in the style of Paolo Piva, 1970s

This Italian mid-century coffee table comes from the 1970s and is evidently inspired by Paolo Piva’s style. This this not B&B Italia production though, although it is a very elaborated piece of metalwork. The table size is H:  31 / W: 130 / D: 86 cm. The base is made of black varnished steel, bent and welded with precision and the top is made of thick transparent glass. A little lower (only 31 cm high), as most Italian coffee tables from that period will work perfectly with any Italian sofa or a lounge chair in a mid century modern or eclectic interior. The glass top is detachable for convenient shipping and handling. Overall, table is in great original condition.
