Unique vintage hand painted nightstands

This pair of vintage bedside tables is adorned with autumn colors to enhance its rounded lines. The dark brown lacquered wood exterior has been enhanced with bright touches of gold leaf. The interior of the niches and drawers was painted matte red, and the handles were gilded. Under the glass top of each bedside table, designs have been hand-painted with a beetle symbolizing night and a butterfly illustrating day, in green, red and gold tones. A unique bedside table duo that plays between complementarity and difference.
