Danikowski ceramic lamp

Ceramic lamp boleslaw danikowski (1928-1979) famous for its sculptures and its collaboration with the company "your house" guillerme and chambron. Boleslaw danikowski was born on september 19, 1928 in thumeries, in the northern department of france. He is of polish origin. His parents, small farmers in poland, had emigrated to france a few years before his birth. His notoriety and clientele comes largely from his collaboration with the company "your home" which produced furniture of original style and high quality. As such, robert guillerme, decorator from the boule school had created with his partner jacques chambron a style of furniture that included many ceramics: decorated tiles, lighting, clocks, door handles, decorative cabochons... This collaboration lasted from 1953 to 1979. Moreover, many customers of "your house" came to the workshop to buy or order sculptures or enamelled lavas of danikowski.
