Table with Tile Top by Jean Despinasse

Beautiful tile table consistons of 24 céramique tiles in a brass frame depicting a mediterranean fishing village harbour scene. Similar images with the same type of characters are also to be found on his other work, other tables but also on his pottery, vases, dishes and bowls. The table is signed by the artist. It has 4 very elegant italian style brass legs with rounded leg ends. If you would screw the legs off, this piece is also very nice as a painting or object hanging on the wall.
