Luciano Frigerio Mid-Century Modern Italian Wood and Suede Sofa "Ussaro",70

This sofa was designed by Luciano Frigerio. It is made of wood with brass friezes, the upholstery is in suede and the bands that support the cushions are in leather. This model is part of the "Ussaro" range and was produced in 1970. "If you like it please make your offer and we will evaluate it, it couldn't be better than this "       Luciano Frigerio was born in Desio in 1928. His father Giovanni started, from 1889, a laboratory of high craftsmanship. Over the years the collaboration with some famous Italian architects and designers was born, including Franco Albini, Sergio Asti and later Paolo Portoghesi. Luciano Frigerio asks them to design furniture that can be made in the workshop, from Craft specifications, with numbered series and signed with the conviction that an architect can design a piece of furniture also as a single piece of high cabinetry and not just furniture for Industrial Production.
