A fantastic pair of so called “egg chairs”, designed by fritz neth and manufactured by correcta in germany around 1950. This inviting chairs have a very nice appeal, their rounded shapes and soft bouclé upholstery make them a beautiful and comfortable addition to the interior. They owe their impressive seating comfort to the carefully thought out ergonomic design. They stand on chrome plated metal legs, a clean material that creates a nice contrast to the soft style of the seats and give the chairs a lovely modern finish. A fantastic find of mid-century german design that will definitely draw the attention of any design enthusiast! Sold as a set – the price is for both chairs together. The pairremains in very good, vintage condition with new upholstery and only minor wear to the base consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. The fabric is new and therefore in excellent condition. The metal legs have only very minor wear, no notable scratches or damages and the structure of both pieces is still excellent, strong and sturdy!.
