Napoleon III secret box, blackened wood and mother-of-pearl decor, padded interior

Napoleon III secret box. Beautiful oval box in nicely worked wood. The lid is decorated with pearly flowers and leaves. The edge of the box is painted with golden figures. On the front a lock, without key. The box rests on 4 small feet. Inside, the lid and the bottom are padded in blue. Good general condition with some missing mother-of-pearl on the lid. Height: 10 cm. Dimensions: 27 cm X 18 cm. Very nice box to collect or give as a gift.
