Napoleon III period fireplace in white marble

Louis XV style fireplace in arabescato marble, mid-19th century period. In the center the lintel is carved with a large shell with tables at each end. The canted jambs are curved with a shell placed in a reserve, three roughened grooves. The sides have a hollow molding. Widely thick scrolled top. Important model from a residence in brittany.
