Plaster bust representing Count Rinaldo della Luna sculpted by Mino da Fiesole (1429-1484). A major work of sculpture from the Italian Renaissance period. The original work is made of marble, dated 1461, and comes from the Domenico Cantini collection (1836). It is currently housed in Florence at the National Museum of Bargello. This late 19th-century reproduction is made of plaster and has a beautiful patina. It likely comes from reproduction workshops such as the Lorenzi house founded in 1871, those of the great Parisian museums, or the School of Fine Arts in Paris. Dimensions: H37 P20 L41 cm 8 kg.
