Renovated walnut bookcase, Poland 1958r.

A bookcase made in January 1958 at the "Drzewo Urządzenia" Work Cooperative in Warsaw. As you can see on the original label, a 1st class product, which we absolutely agree with. Very thick and durable plywood was used to manufacture the furniture (not chipboard as was sometimes the case) covered with a beautiful, noble walnut veneer with a very fancy grain. The furniture is veneered both outside and inside, which makes it extremely decorative. The lower storage part is closed with doors equipped with locks, which of course work. Above we have a bar also locked with a key. Each key is different and dedicated exclusively to its lock - it will not work in another. We also have 2 drawers for small items. The upper part is glazed display cabinets, ideal for displaying beautiful objects such as porcelain or other collectibles. Dimensions of the library: height 175cm, width 115cm, depth 30cm. The furniture has undergone a comprehensive renovation and is ready to decorate a stylish living room for many years.
